It was an absolutely perfect day to ride down the Columbia Gorge on my way home. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and I was reminded exactly why that is.

It was a brutally cold start to the day. The first hour of my ride was between 26º and 30º. I stopped in Kennewick to have lunch with my Mom (and to warm up) before embarking on the last 200 miles of what has been an incredible ride and illumining odyssey.

I wish I had some witty or inspirational wisdom to bring this blog to close but I really don't. I think I spent everything I had along the way and now my bucket list is in need of a refill. I started feeling a bit disoriented as the roads became familiar and that feeling has only increased as I rolled Tiggrr into the garage, switching off the ignition and unloading my bags for the last time. Until next time that is.

I thank you all for sharing the journey with me and your words of support along the way. I look forward to reconnecting with you in the coming weeks.

At last, the journey's end draws nigh,

A path traversed beneath the sky.

Through trials faced and lessons learned,

The final bend, the tide has turned.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,

Through stormy seas and azure sky,

Each step a tale, each moment true,

Guided by dreams, old and new.

And as the sun sets on this quest,

A bittersweet feeling fills the chest.

For though the road has reached its close,

Its memories forever impose.

So here we stand, at destiny's door,

Grateful hearts, forevermore.

For every step, every mile,

A journey ends, but leaves a smile.

Much love - Andrew
